Child Friendly - 1 Bedroom - Shared Home

I have a spare bedroom in our home you can use for your family. I would like to host a mother with a school aged child, and possibly a second child (I will have to get an extra bed for the second child but it could be done). Right now there is a bunk bed in the room. You will need to share the rest of the home with us - one bathroom only. My home is modest but I am eager to help a needy family. We will help you with Canadian paperwork, physical and mental health care, school, job/income, making friends and joining community and cultural groups. Our province has many Ukrainian people and community supports. We live in a smaller city, but it has everything you need. My home is right beside a public elementary school and a Catholic elementary school and near the high school. We have a very nice fenced back yard and our neighbourhood and city have many nice parks and playgrounds for your children. I am a single mom with 2 sons (age 9 and 17) and 3 cats. We will do our best to accommodate any of your pets if you bring them. I work for the Saskatchewan government, and am president of our school's parent/community council - and as such I have passed many police security checks. Our home is safe, and we will host you for free as long as you need to settle into the community or until you wish to return to Ukraine. We are a Christian family - we do not smoke or drink and try to obey all of God's commandments - and this includes our wish to help you our neighbour!
